He struck out six and walked three.Luke Weaver (2-0) replaced Gil and gave up one run and two hits in 2 1/3 innings. Nick Burdi pitched a hitless eighth and Victor Gonzalez allowed one hit in the ninth while recording his first save.Arizona’s Ryne Nelson (0-1) struggled while throwing 76 pitches in just 2 2/3 innings. He gave up five runs (four earned), five hits, four walks and struck out two.The Yankees left the bases loaded in the first inning before scoring twice in the second and three times in the third against Nelson.
