The New York Yankees placed second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the 10-day injured list on Friday.He strained his right oblique on a swing against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday, and the move is retroactive to Wednesday.Chisholm, 27, is batting .181 with seven home runs, 17 RBIs and six stolen bases in 30 games this season.The former All-Star is a lifetime .245 hitter with 84 homers, 245 RBIs and 105 steals in 479 games with the Miami Marlins (2020-24) and Yankees (2024-25).
