The New York Yankees claimed former first-round draft pick Jordan Groshans off waivers from the Miami Marlins on Tuesday.New York designated left-handed pitcher Matt Krook for assignment to create room on the 40-man roster.Groshans, 24, is an infielder who played 17 games at third base for Miami in 2022. He batted .262 in those games with one home run and two RBIs.
