Top PG decommits from USC after Andy Enfield departs

McDonald’s All-American point guard Trent Perry has decommitted from Southern California after its coaching change.Perry, the Gatorade Player of the Year in California, confirmed his decision with ESPN on Tuesday.Former Trojans coach Andy Enfield accepted the head coaching position at ACC-bound SMU on Monday.”I was eager to start my college career as a Trojan,” Perry said in a statement sent to ESPN. “However with the recent news, I will be requesting a release and reopening my recruitment. I am going to take this time to decide which school makes the most sense for me next year while maintaining USC as an option.”
