The New York Jets signed kicker Harrison Mevis, who most recently played for the Birmingham Stallions in the 2025 UFL season, according to ESPN and other reports Tuesday.Mevis, 23, has yet to appear in an NFL game after a successful college career at Missouri. In 2024, he signed with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent but was waived during training camp.Mevis — nicknamed “The Thiccer Kicker” for his burly frame — went 20-for-21 on field goal attempts for Birmingham in the recently completed UFL season.
