Former FAU standout guard Alijah Martin is transferring to Florida, he told ESPN on Sunday.Martin, who will have one year of eligibility as a graduate transfer, averaged 11.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 124 games (86 starts) over four seasons for the Owls from 2020-24.The 6-foot-2 Martin started 30 of 34 games this past season and averaged 13.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.6 steals en route to his third consecutive all-league honor (Conference USA twice, American Athletic Conference in 2024).Martin made the 2023 NCAA All-Tournament team as FAU made a surprising run to the Final Four.FAU (25-9, 14-4 AAC) lost to Northwestern in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Head coach Dusty May left FAU for Michigan and was replaced by John Jakus.
