The New York Giants restructured defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence’s contract to clear $7.5 million in salary cap space, ESPN reported Thursday.The Giants converted $10 million of the two-time Pro Bowl selection’s base salary into a signing bonus, per the report. The team had been about $2.5 million over the cap before reworking the deal.Lawrence, 26, signed a four-year, $90 million extension with the Giants in May 2023.
